Thomas Town: The Adventure Edition Part II

Hello again, friends and family. Oh how the time fly's! We are keeping busy here in Kalamazoo Michigan. There has been an overabundance of snow, artic temperatures, and lots of exciting winter adventures. (Not all have been pleasant)

Just today we walked on water. Frozen Lake Michigan water.

Winnie and I lasted about 10 minutes out on the frozen tundra.

The lake was frozen in sheets and waves. A very beautiful sight! Talmadge and Jared loved running up and down the solid H2O.

But, now we need to back track a little...

What are these, you may ask? I took a sewing class and made these adorable pillow cases. The bright, eclectic materials made me homesick for my awesome cousin Denise. Her style is legendary.
I loved my sewing experience and have since made 3 pairs of pajama bottoms, a chair cover, and my planned project is a baby blanket. Fun, Fun, Fun!

This bit of revulsion is something we stumbled upon this summer as we were out running. It was so morbidly fascinating I thought I'd share it with all of you. Poor little frog. (And, Jared still wants to buy a snake. Yuck)

Why are we so dressed up?

This is why!
One of Jared's best buds, Brian, married the lovely Amanda on Mackinac Island.

It was fun getting there by boat.

The views pristine

The company terrific!

The food - beautiful & divine.

The children - darling

The views!!!

I Love Mackinac Island!

Now on to the not so fun...

Poor Elantra was damaged so severely that she had to be totaled.

This is the new transportation with more miles, and 1 year older then my previous car. But, it sure is cute!

And now... a little comedic relief

I went to use the restroom at the mall and came out to find this Hot Stuff waiting for me. Oh yeah, that's my husband.
